Academic Writing Lecture

We had our academic writing lecture where I learnt many things. Academic writing is logical, objective and uses reasoning, evidence and a precise style whereas personal writing is subjective, emotional and intuitive. This is extremely helpful to know as this is the style that I will be using in many of the assignments that I have to do for other modules. Furthermore, this is setting the bases of all the assignments I will need to do until I finish college. I am really hoping that I can practice both styles this year as that will make the next four years of my degree easier.
